It's Father's Day next week! Have you bought that hunk of a hubby a gift yet? If not, I have a few ideas for you.
1. For the water sports enthusiast (aka, The Hubs):
I give you the Connelly Fun2 (squared) towable. We love our towable. It can be towed from both the front and the back. It seats 2 people. And unlike a tube, you can sit right on top of this for a comfortable ride.
2. For the reading enthusiast:
The Kindle Fire. The Hubs loves his, even when he isn't reading. I believe Majhong is the app of choice right now. If you swing by Amazon soon, and enter the code DADSFIRE, you can get $20 off!
3. For the road trip enthusiast:
The Garmin nuvi Portable GPS Navigator. This version has a lifetime map subscription. Send him out exploring without having to stop to ask for
4. The the Super Dad, the dad who does it all:
I love Zazzle. They have such fun shirts. Case in point, the Superdad shirt. Use CSSURVEY2013 and get 10% off!
5. But, if these aren't up your alley, if you are more of a crafting mom, may I suggest my friends over at Eighteen25? They have some awesome Dad's Day ideas.
Saturday: Family Dinner - Pizza is usually the meal of choice.
Sunday: Family Dinner - my nephew is leaving to serve a mission for our church next week, so our extended family is getting together.
Monday: Spaghetti and Breadsticks (I have a great recipe for breadsticks that I'll be sharing)
Tuesday: Grilled Cheese and Tomato Soup
Wednesday: Southwestern Egg Rolls with Avocado Dipping Sauce
Thursday: French Omelets
Friday: Easy Mac & Cheese - Momma's got a hot date with The Hubs and Clark Kent.
Yes, next week is going to be a busy week. Actually, the next two weeks are going to be busy. So meals will be simple.
